Oorangu, the Wise, is the leader of the Grook village, and headmaster of their academy of magic on the island of Ulangi. The oldest member of the village of Ogalla, only the legendary Ofoorti is rumoured to be older.
He and Balai, the Scorned, have a strong dislike of each other, and would very much like to see the other stopped in his mad plans.
