The Loving Hearts Orphanage was opened in 176 AF by Servelan de Vermiis in Ashtan. It later proved to be an intergral part of an experiment in which Servelan summoned the Unnamable Horror to merge with it and become Eris, Goddess of Chaos.
The orphanage still stands in this day and age. Just as in the years of Servelan, it continues its practice of accepting orphans with open arms and outturned scalpels. The pineal glands of children are a precious commodity, after all.
