The Loving Hearts Orphanage, located off Anza Street in Ashtan, was opened in 176 AF by Servelan de Vermiis. It was opened under the guise of providing sound meals, good education and an environment in which to thrive and grow for orphans. The orphanage later proved to be an integral part of an experiment in which Servelan summoned the Unnamable Horror and merged with it to become Eris, Goddess of Chaos.
The orphanage still stands to this day. Just as in the years of Servelan, it continues its practice of accepting orphans with open arms and out-turned scalpels. The pineal glands of children are a precious commodity, after all.
