Ancient Seleucarian settlements such as the great city of Soliath and Leios, in addition to countless villages, once lay on its broad tableau. After the cataclysms which immediately followed the fall of the Seleucarian Empire, Kyndos was completely obliterated, the plain and all of its settlements crumbling into the ocean.
