Imithia, the great-great-great-granddaughter of the Offspring Pasiphae, is regarded as the founder of the Church. In Ceylon, with a ceremony known as the Rite of Passing, Imithia memorialized her ancestor, who was known to possess an exceptionally pure soul. This ritual is considered the mark of the Church's humble beginnings.
