General Garrindel was a notable military leader of Shallam. His rapier, "Garrindel's Left Hand," was comparable in power to one of the blackened rapiers sold by the merchant Merentesh. On Glacian 3, 539 AF, the weapon was auctioned off to Micaelis Sioraiocht for 350,000 gold sovereigns in a fundraising soiree at the Lucretian Athenaeum.
