In 209 AF, infected by a demon and driven to madness, Gaia slew Twilight, breaking an ages-old agreement between the Gods that is known as Gaia's betrayal. As a result, Gaia was imprisoned within an oak known as the Gaian Tree until she was cured and released several years later.
