However, in the year 403, they began to allow membership to those of the [[Paladin]] class.  They have gradually increased the number of allowed classes since that time. The [[:Category:Skills|skills]] of the Priest class evolved slowly over the history of the organisation, developing after specific events and derived older practices. The skill of [[Spirituality]], for example, was gifted to the ancient Priests by the Hierarchs of [[Celestia]] after being judged worthy of having angels as guardians. [[Devotion (skill)|Devotion]] is derived from the ancient Rites of the Holy Church and once existed as more a compact version of the older one.
