City guardians, or eidolons, are large beasts born from each of the city-states Fonts. Purchased somewhat like one of the city's guards, though should the beast fall, the method for repurchasing is intricate. Upon the creature's death the city-relic would empty itself and essence would need to be gathered from specific creatures to refill it, and only then would it be able to summon the creature back from death so it can be purchased by the city.
