A boost chain is a type of artefact available for purchase with Mayan crowns at the Shop of Wonders in Delos. Each respective chain boosts the amount of life essence, karma, or devotion the owner recovers. Adventurers may purchase one of three varieties, which include:
- A chain of burnished gold gives off a comfortable warmth that is noticeable but not uncomfortable as it helps the owner recover more life essence.
- A bloodsteel chain pulses with a bloody, crimson glow from rough engravings on the sanguine steel as it helps the owner recover more karma.
- A chain of black iron gives off a vaporous rise that lends a deep, bone chilling cold to the metal as it helps the owner recover more devotion.
