Bandit is a general term for unsavoury outlaws and vagabonds who lurk about near the roadsides and caves of Achaea hoping to waylay unsuspecting travellers. They are similar to thugs and some are organised, like the Shala'jen bandits. Sometimes they wield whips, daggers, and dirks, and often they will attempt to steal belongings like vials and pipes from the corpses of their victims but they are always rude, filthy and aggressive.
