Nelbennir

Nelbennir are slug-like humanoids. They are found on the jungle isle of Tuar. The grey skinned creatures have globular, protruding eyeballs but notoriously bad eyesight. They make squelching sounds but it is not known if they can speak the Achaean language with their tentacled mouths. Nelbennir wear leather scent-pouches which they inhale red powder from, though whether their purpose is aesthetic or as breathing apparatuses is up for debate. Nelbennir are at odds with lamarians who they hunt with mercilessly.
