There are twelve months in the Achaean calendar year. These are:
- Sarapin (mid-winter)
- Daedalan (late winter)
- Aeguary (early spring)
- Miraman (mid-spring)
- Scarlatan (late spring)
- Ero (early summer)
- Valnuary (mid-summer)
- Lupar (late summer)
- Phaestian (early autumn)
- Chronos (mid-autumn)
- Glacian (late autumn)
- Mayan (early winter)
Each month is made up of 25 Achaean days, which are roughly equal to one otherworldly hour. About once every twenty-four months, the Orphean serenade wafts through all of Creation.
