Divine Essence
Divine Essence is what gives Divines the Power to punish and favor mortals. Only Scions and the Divine may see exactly how much essence they have but anyone can contribute essence to their choosen divine.
Offering
Offering corpses and gold to your choosen divine is what raises their essence and allowes them to do many things.
Offering consists of three steps.
- Kill denizens or get gold
- Find shrines of the Deity you wish to make an offering too
- OFFER <Object> and your offering will be wisked away and the Divine you offered to will be notified.
Please note that diffrent types of Denizens will have a diffrent amount of essence. For example offering a rat and a Pixie will give diffrent amounts of essence. Generally the Harder to kill a denizen the more essence it will provide when offered.
Defiling
Defiling is the process of destroying a Divines shrine. Although the Divine does not lose essence directly from defiling, It costs nearly 200,000 essence to raise a shrine and sanctify. This means that you are indirectly costing the divine essence. Please use the outmost caution when defiling shrines, the Order members and Divine will be aware when you do and you could meet some nasty consequences.
