Taras
Racey and athletic, auburn-haired Taras, the clothier is a woman of remarkable pizzazz. She is constantly fiddling with a ball of yarn as she sells her multi-coloured wares in the markets of Loramere.
Taras' Wares
- Grotesque codpiece - 400gp
- A crimson triangle of red linen is bolstered by stiff padding. The vulgar crescent shape created rises from the pelvis of the wearer to point skyward, the outline thick and bulbous to accommodate the male anatomy with room left over for medicinal bandages should they be required. Thin strips of like-coloured linen attached to the three points extend between the legs and around the waist to tie securely at the back.
- Tartan sarong skirt - 1250gp
- A wide, contoured waistband sits indecently low on the waist and serves as the staging point for a flow of emerald green and indigo blue fabric. The cut and slant of the material is sewn in such odd layers that none of it makes much sense but, when in movement, the flow is beautiful. A gather at one hip lifts the material high to expose the outside of one leg and creates an attractive flounce that only serves to enhance the curvature of the female form. Tinkling along the waistband are tiny bronze discs dangling from green strips of fabric, their sway designed to draw attention to the natural shift of a woman's body in motion.
- Low-cut blouse - 650gp
- Not leaving much to the imagination, this blouse sports a low-cut, plunging neckline, providing a generous view of the wearer's torso. The delicate, black silk is smooth to the touch and slightly translucent, allowing glimpses at the skin beneath the fabric. Puff sleeves reach unto the wrists, where an opaque ring of cotton closes off the garment's arms, and a black, flowery embroidery decorates the cuffs. A broad collar crowns the blouse, while the lower hemline is kept extremely short, ending just beneath the navel.
- Garish red dress - 750gp
- An exceptionally exquisite piece of clothing, this dress was fashioned from softest silk, the light reflecting gently and elegantly from its surface. The fabric is dyed into a deep, lush claret, harmoniously combined with a black thread with which the components were stitched together. The sartorial, wide skirt falls in a debonair fashion, with painstakingly-applied crinkles and creases, while the entire torso is studded with sequins, shimmering in erythroid tones. Every seam is decorated with black lace and an additional hemline of ruby-coloured velvet.
