The Cult of the Serpent Lords was formerly the Serpentlords Guild. This organisation, the first Guild of its class in the Modern Age, was founded by Crotalus (born Ero 19, 156 AF), an early citizen of Hashan. The Guild was also the first representing the serpent class to undergo the transformation into a House.
Based within the city of Hashan, they are masters of the arts of assassination, theft, and subterfuge taught by their house tutor Ssathis, the Ophidian.
