Mesmerium

The Mesmerium was once a temple of Valnurana, Lady of Sleep and Dreams. The ruins are located southeast of the Shunai Bridge, off the path of the Prelatorian Highway. The windmill that once acted as gateway to the temple stands as nothing more than a shattered husk of its former glory. Beyond the blasted beams of the windmill, the grotto has been ravaged by both natural and supernatural forces. The underground forest was flooded by a breach of the Urubamba River due to an oak tree's roots, and the Mesmerium Cathedral was destroyed by a ritual performed by the Warmages of Aegis resulting in the birth of Noxuron. Infested by dream horrors, the formerly languid grotto lies abandoned.
