Gleam

Gleam, is a highly-addictive, snortable drug. It comes in the form of pale, slightly golden powder with a faint citrus smell. The drug is highly addictive and, though appropriate doses often result in temporarily higher dexterity or a stronger form of insomnia, larger doses or long term use of the drug will result in long, excruciating withdrawal symptoms and hallucinations. Overdosing is guaranteed to result in death.

Gleam first made its appearance in Ashtan where it was sold by footpads throughout the city. Later, it was discovered to have been manufactured from orphans by the Dowager Montagenet under the hypnotic instructions of Ysven of the Jaguars. The Gleam available today is a synthetic mixture created and sold by Dr. Kortoxian.
