Blindness

Blindness is an affliction of the eyes resulting in the inability to see. Because being blind also confers resistance to transfixing and many harmful runes, it can also be counted as a defence. Blindness is cured by application of an epidermal salve, and can be caused by consumption of the hawthorn berry or administration of the occulus venom.
