Prior to the sundering of the continents, the plains of Kyndos once stretched far from the western foot of the Vasnari Mountains, then known only as the Vashnar Mountains, to the western sea. Ancient Seleucarian settlements such as the great city of Soliath and Leios, in addition to countless villages, once lay on its broad tableau. After the cataclysms which immediately followed the fall of the Seleucarian Empire, Kyndos was completely obliterated, the plain and all of its settlements crumbling into the ocean.
