The Shrine Wars is the name commonly given to the undeclared war between Sartan and his followers and members of the Divine Alliance. In approximately the year 290 AF, Lord Sartan's followers began targeting the shrines of several divine. In response, Caspian, Phaestus, Lupus, Aegis and Ourania joined together in a mutual alliance against the order of Sartan.
In the year 300 AF, Aegis renewed the call to make war on the followers of Sartan, who rejected any conditions imposed to enact a cessation of hostilities.
