Averroes, the Prophet, was tutor to the city of Shallam. He was an old man and a scholar who introduced many newbies to the skills of their various classes.
Averroes had also been known to foresee future events, hence his given suffix. He has played a key role in numerous conflicts involving Shallam. In the year 208 AF, his dreams of cosmic destruction predicted the coming of the Morning Star. Damaris blamed him and Epicurus in Ashtan for the destruction of her personal home in Hashan. Averroes foresaw the destruction of Shallam, and died in 612 AF with the city he loved so dearly.
The island Averrone in the city of Targossas is named in memory of him.
