The polished skull artefact has the unique ability to locate an adventurer's corpse when caressed. The skull itself is the size of an average human child's, yet its features are adult-like, suggesting it was taken from the corpse of a more diminutive race. A single ruby is inset upon its brow, glowing with a malevolent light.
