The Shakira Effect is named after an unfortunate Occultist who attempted to use her individual karma and transmogrify during the time when Chaos was Tainted. Rather than achieving her goal, she was reduced to a bestial state characterised by incredible strength, horrid appearance, and drastic decay in intelligence and personality. It is speculated that the crypt beast is an example of the Shakira Effect.
