The '''Shakira Effect''' is named for an unfortunate [[Occultist]] who attempted to [[transmogrify]] using individual karma during the time when [[Chaos]] was [[Chaos Taint|Tainted]]. Rather than achieving her goal, she was reduced to a bestial state. This state was characterised by incredible strength, horrid appearance, and a drastic decay in the original intelligence and personality of the caster. It is speculated that the [[Crypt Beast]], before its demise, was an example of the Shakira Effect.
