The Darkshade venom results in its victim experiencing a severe allergy to sunlight. When outside, those suffering from this allergy will periodically feel the scorching pain of the sun's rays on their skin, even to the point of causing instant death. The allergy persists indoors in a state of remission. This affliction can be cured by eating a ginseng root.
