Kallion, the adolescent, is the half-Tsol'aa son of Selaana, the Tsol'aa huntress. He lives in the Aalen with his mother. His father was an unnamed visitor to the Tsol'aa Village long ago, with whom Selaana became a bit too friendly. Kallion is not at all fond of outsiders, dismissing them as "sub-normal beings", and spends his time dreaming of the day when he will rule the forest.
