::::::::Nah. I don't remember ever giving an absolute for this. I vote for "Ram's Horn", "Ram's horn", "Ram's horn (artefact)", and the disambig page. If nobody knows what I'm talking about, I'll do it myself so you can see. I'd rather not have to come up with something that doesn't sound good just to fit an unofficial rule. :::::::::This issue is far from over. I just received confirmation that the official name of the establishment is Ram's Horn Bar, not Ram's Horn, which I bothered checking in the first place because "Ram's Horn" should redirect to the disambiguation should anyone search with caps for the artefact or public structure. With that being a redirect, there is no reason ram's horn, ram's horns, etc. shouldn't also be redirects. (Meaning there should be something in parentheses for the public structure page. Any less, and that's basically "favoritism" of a particular page, and disambiguations are made to resolve that problem.) --Krypton 18:32, 4 April 2008 (GMT) | :::::::::This issue is far from over. The official name of Ram's Horn Bar does not change or hinder what I've done. This issue is over until I, a Divine, or another Head Chronicler says otherwise. Asara 02:57, 5 April 2008 (GMT)
:You yourself said you were fine with ram's horn (public), and you agreed ram's horn should redirect to the disambiguation. Given giant ram's horn is even better, though, as it is the item's actual name (just like Ram's Horn Bar is the actual name), and actual names are what the articles should reflect, is it all right to go ahead with that, as it also should clear your doubts about having to add something like the "(public)" part? --Krypton 03:06, 5 April 2008 (GMT)
::OK, I just doubled checked this myself and I'm good to go with "Ram's horn (artefact)", "Ram's Horn Bar", "Giant ram's horn", and the Ram's horn/Ram's Horn/Ram's horns/Ram's Horns disambig pages/redirects, if anyone wants to change it now! Asara 22:11, 7 April 2008 (GMT) |

Possible non-disambiguation pages + comments:
- ram's horn (artefact) - this one should be straightforward
- ram's horns - possibly for the giant, public kind, but what if we should want this to be a page that redirects to the disambigation?
- ram's horn (insert your idea for the giant, public kind here) - *rally*
--Krypton 14:48, 3 April 2008 (GMT)
Maybe Ram's horn (public) or Ram's horn (object)? I do think Ram's horns (and singular) should be redirect to the disambig *nod*. ~Soludra 17:25, 3 April 2008 (GMT)
- If we choose to, yes Ram's horn should redirect to the disambig and "Ram's horn (public)" is fine, but I'm not completely sold on it. Personally, I don't mind leaving Ram's horn the way it is and having people use the disambig note at the top of the article to get to the artefact. Asara 23:06, 3 April 2008 (GMT)
- Mm, I like that last idea. The horn artefact is just a portable version of the others scattered around anyways; they're not even as separate as the gold commodity and the gold currency. ~Soludra 01:25, 4 April 2008 (GMT)
- I'm not sure what that "last idea" suggests, though. Do you mean leaving ram's horn the page for the non-portable ones, and using a disambig note on that page to come to the disambiguation page, which would then link to a ram's horn (artefact) page? If I interpreted that correctly, then the portable and non-portable horns are still getting different pages, which is good, but now the general rule that search terms that match the disambiguation lead to the disambiguation page isn't being met, which is not good (if not necessarily very bad *shrug*). I think it's time for another picture, Asara.. --Krypton 02:53, 4 April 2008 (GMT)
- No, I think she meant that there would be a note at the top of Ram's horn saying that there's an artefact called the rams horn at Ram's horn (artefact). There would be no actual disambiguation page involved. ~Soludra 03:01, 4 April 2008 (GMT)
- Although it seems there's also a tavern to deal with called the Ram's Horn? ugh. ~Soludra 03:02, 4 April 2008 (GMT)
- Yes, that's why this disambiguation was a necessity, one way or another. --Krypton 03:04, 4 April 2008 (GMT)
- Can you show me where this disambig rule is? I'm too lazy to look and don't remember it. Asara 04:41, 4 April 2008 (GMT)
- Personally, I am fine with a "Ram's Horn", "Ram's horn", and "Ram's horn (artefact)" with disambig notes at the top, like every other article with a disambig. Asara 04:43, 4 April 2008 (GMT)
- I don't know, but it was your response when I asked. Something along the lines of "Yes, non-specific search terms should always redirect to the disambiguation page instead of open a content page." --Krypton 08:43, 4 April 2008 (GMT)
