The Ram's Horn Bar in Cyrene is an intimate establishment. Sir Lance, the bartender, is mirthful fellow and always ready to serve his customers - especially the ladies. In a smoky room in the back of the bar, a bellydancer named Shadya will put on her exotic show for the right price in gold.

Drinks

Rum (straight-sided shot glass) - 70gp

Floral scents of sugary vanilla and smooth walnut blend beautifully with the fiery tones of white rum, all rising from this drink. Etched into the rim, swaying heads of wheat add an interesting contrast to the smooth glass, highlighting an unusual golden hue that swirls around the shot.

Cocktail (icy, frosted glass) - 70gp

Slender and tall, this glass is frosted from its contents, a fine layer of ice misting its usually clear surface. Fine vapours drift free, scenting the air with delicate, fruity fragrances.

Brandy (tumbler of golden apple brandy) - 250gp

Made from apples freshly picked in the Shamtota Orchard, the fruits are crushed, juiced, fermented then distilled into this lovely brandy. Aged in charred Aurelian oak casks, the liquor transforms from pale straw yellow to amber with age. The powerful fragrance of ripe apples hit the nose first before turning floral with a hint of fragrant blossoms. Aromas of citrus predominate with hints of cherry and vanilla.

Whiskey (tumbler of Vashnarian whiskey) - 250gp

This aged whiskey imparts a subtle note of caramel apples, banana toffee pie, and a hint of smoke. The very fruity palate, with peaches and apricots, merge harmoniously with vanilla and spice. Custard dominates the finish with a final hint of liquorice and oak.

Rum (dark tumbler of spiced sipping rum) - 250gp

Obelito Special rum infused with orange, cinnamon, vanilla, allspice and cloves for a full twelve months graces this tumbler. Dark and complex, a sip of this unique liquor urges contemplation. Caramel lingers on the palate while hints of almond and hazelnut dance in the background.

Mulled Cider (pewter dragon-scale mug of Hot Cider) - 150gp

This pewter mug has intricate patterns of dragon-scales etched into the surface. The handle is in the form of a tail, curling first off the top of the mug and then again outwards from the bottom to allow the easiest possible way to grip. The steam rising from mug is heavenly scented with vanilla and walnuts.

Lager (flagon filled with dark lager) - 140gp

An unremarkable wooden flagon, absent of carving or non-utilitarian decoration.

Rum (cloudy glass bottle) - 200gp

Slender in width and short in height, this bottle swirls with various hues of white and grey, the glass thick and opaque. Pasted onto the side, a worn label displays fluid yet faded writing.

Fruit Wine (pottery goblet) - 150gp

Chunky in appearance, this goblet is a testimony to the craftsmen of Cyrene. A round, bowl-shaped cup enables it to hold drink, whilst a twisting stunted stem leading to a flat base holds it upright. Along every inch of the surface, swirling decorations depict hidden scenes of the city it boasts from.

Lemonade (glass of fizzy lemonade) - 140gp

A cloudy yellow drink fizzes in this clear pint glass, cubes of ice rising to the rim. A single lemon slice, one fresh strawberry, and a sprig of mint garnish the side, held together with a swizzle stick. Fresh lemons have been juiced and pure, effervescent Vashnarian spring water added, with sugar tempering the tart citrus flavour. Flecks of pulp and lemon zest rise and fall with the bubbles.

Food

Bowl of creamy white asparagus soup - 135gp

Small stems of ivory pale asparagus float gently within the creamy and thick white broth of this soup. The rich soup is lightly garnished with a pinch of shredded kelp and held within a small blue bowl painted with silver scrollwork.

Plate of corn chips - 150gp

You can't help but drool at this hearty plate of light and golden triangle corn chips adorned with mounds of cheddar cheese, spicy ground beef, topped with an unbelievably huge dollop of sour cream, and thinly-sliced fiery red peppers.

Small garden salad - 130gp

Cucumber slices and tomatoes are balanced gently atop this freshly tossed garden salad of lettuce grown in the gardens of Cyrene's farmers. Garnishing the salad are small purple begonia flowers and shredded white cheese. A mixture of white wine and tangy vinegar makes up the dressing for this delicious and petite salad.

Plate of spiced sausages and onions - 140gp

Tender, juicy sausages sliced into inch long pieces have been stir-fried with onions, then smothered with ketchup, a dash of soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and various spices. Toothpicks have been placed conveniently at the side of the plate.
