Magog came to the Naga in 328 AF. He brought some unusual goods with him and stayed to serve the Guild. He remained with the House until its disestablishment in the late 7th century. His current whereabouts are unknown, but has has been rumored to have been seen at times in Mhaldor, selling exotic wares from the times of early Mhaldorian origins.
Magog's Discontinued Wares
- a sleek velvet pouch
- This coal-black velvet pouch is a thin bandoleer style and worn slung around the torso from one shoulder, with a clever series of buttons to seal it.
- a polished, caliginous cane
- This cane is carved from a rare type of wood, its grain a convolution of lines and burls. Heavy lacquer gives it a caliginous black pigment, while its surface is polished to a high sheen, causing it to radiate a lustrous shine. A silver adder spirals up the cane, its tail encircling the length, and nested at the apex is a multi-faceted, egg-shaped, onyx stone, held tight in the jaws of the adder.
- an adder-shaped pipe of carved obsidian
- This obsidian pipe is cleverly carved into the shape of a death adder, its head reared back as if to strike. The serpent's eyes are two small, glittering opals, and its fangs are of ivory, starkly contrasting with the obsidian body, which tapers elegantly towards the snake's open jaws. The top of the adder's head serves as the bowl of the pipe, allowing herbs to be placed within.
- a black banded quiver
- This quiver is made of hardened black leather and trimmed with bands of hematite. Designed to resemble the scales of the death adder with alternating bands of polished hematite over the base ebony, representing the serpent of the Naga. It can be worn at the hip or over the shoulder.
- a stygian wrist sheath.
- Fashioned of exceedingly supple yet resilient kidskin, the straps of this sheath perfectly accommodate any wrist. It fits snugly to the forearm without hindering the wearer's movement in any way. The construction of the sheath allows for the dirk stored within to be drawn with a mere flick of the wrist. Dyed the colour of stygian night and delicately tooled with stylized death adders, this item completes any Naga's attire.
- a lycopod salad topped with a strangely aromatic dressing
- The thick, meaty leaves of a lycopod have been stripped of their razor edges and piled high in a large bowl. Pieces of lycopod stalks are mixed in with the leaves, having been simmered first to soften their otherwise hard texture. Sprinkled over the salad, chunks of a cheese marbled with blue veins can be seen, and a mixture of oil of vinegar has been drizzled atop the leafy meal. The faint, but distinct smell of voyria is present, almost concealed by the vinegar dressing.
