Salyn, the village guard, made his home in Ka'doloki. He could be found regularly patrolling the village. Jala, a fair maiden in the village, had a crush on Salyn and was often found making a necklace of flowers and shells for him.
In 758 he revealed himself as a member of the Vigil, sacrificing himself to release the demon Pazuzu.
