The Shadow Codex is the tutor of the Shadowsnakes of Ashtan. A sentient collection of serpentine lore which guides the study of the Shadows, it was compiled from the ancient tomes of Loki (serpent) and Ekanel, the original serpents, with the help of Lady Eris and her occult scholars.
