Domination is without question the most dangerous art within Achaea. It involves the summoning of entities from the [[Chaos Plane]] as well as [[Chaos Lords]]. A practitioner risks their life and very soul in dealing with them, for they are powerful and not to be trifled with. To gain the services of a [[Chaos entities|Chaos Entity]], one must first discover a way into the Chaos Plane. Once there, search them out and attempt to dominate them.
Tarot is the occult skill of inscribing magical cards with various inks in order to create a powerful image. Each of the major arcana of the Tarot deck is represented here. To use the skill, one must first find some blank tarot cards. Then, you may inscribe the cards with various images, each unique image empowers the card's wielder with different types of magic. Inscribing takes intense concentration and one cannot do much else while focusing on the task.


Though once connected with the Chaos Plane, [[Taug|Lord Taug]], also known as [[Pazuzu|Prince Pazuzu]] is no longer welcome there, and thus bargains can no longer be made with this [[Chaos Lords]] through the abilities of Domination.

Tarot is the occult skill of inscribing magical cards with various inks in order to create a powerful image. Each of the major arcana of the Tarot deck is represented here. To use the skill, one must first find some blank tarot cards. Then, you may inscribe the cards with various images, each unique image empowers the card's wielder with different types of magic. Inscribing takes intense concentration and one cannot do much else while focusing on the task.

The skill of Tarot is available to members of the Jester and Occultist classes.

Jesters also have the skills of Pranks and Puppetry, while Occultists also have the skills of Occultism and Domination.

The ability of Ruinate is unique to members of the Occultist class.

Details: The Wheel of Fortune is mysterious and represents luck, neither good nor bad. Sometimes it will bring good things, sometimes bad. The effects of this card are permanent, except those affecting adventurer statistics.

Use of this card which affects anyone unwillingly could result in very serious repercussions.


When ruinated, the wheel of fortune becomes the Wheel of Chaos. Fling it at the ground and it will begin to rotate. After rotating the number of desired times it will lash out with chaotic energy. Lesser in many ways than the karmic powered rays of Occultism, but with relatively similar results. The first ray will freeze. The second will give stuttering. The final gives blackout. Note that the wheel will be indiscriminate, striking everyone except you(*).

* You may specify how many rotations you wish to happen before the wheel starts lashing out such as: RUINATE WHEEL AT GROUND 4. This number must be between 1 and 7, and defaults to 1 if not specified.

When ruinated, the Creator becomes the Destroyer. This manifestation of destruction requires a fully charged Death card to invoke, and that Death card will also be consumed in the process. You may only fling the Destroyer at a target who is both blacked out and shivering; but when you do, they will be slain shortly thereafter(*).

* This is a channel similar to death tarot, but resolves faster when the additional conditions are met.

If four or more afflictions are converted, the target is frozen; this ability will also prone your target if both of their legs are broken when it resolves.
