Located in the depths of the Eastern Ithmia, the forestal village of Eleusis was revealed by the dryad queen Titania to a group of Sentinels in the year 271 AF following Vixen's bout of illness. Eleusis is a naturally formed habitat in the Ithmia's treetops for the forestals of Sapience to call home. Dedicated to the preservation and expansion of Nature, Eleusis follows the words of the Viridian Charter in efforts against cities of iron and stone and those that infringe upon Nature and those that do it harm.
In order to customize the appearance of these, the smith can select up to two adjectives called 'descriptors' from a list they can access via FORGING LIST.

The village of Eleusis was officially formed in the month of Daedalan, 324 years after the fall of the Seleucarian Empire, by Covenant Stormcrow, Tearstorm Le'Yuet, Riakar Nakanishi, Elsp Le'Yuet, and Mysti La'Saen. It is led by a council made up of five Hierophants who are elected by popular vote. From these five, one leader is chosen to be the Speaker of Eleusis. The term Hierophants, for the council members, used to be Leath-ris (literally, "half-kings").
Descriptors are assigned to a Smithing Rank, from Apprentice Blacksmith up to Master Blacksmith, with more advanced descriptors costing substantially more to use. These correspond to Smithing Ranks, and a forger must be of at least that Smithing Rank in order to use descriptors of that rank.

Formerly the home of The Sylvanic Fellowship, the Sentinels of Nature, and the Ancient Circle of Druids, now the Heartwood Kin and Scions of the Ithmia stand proudly upon its boughs.
Descriptors also may have category-based restrictions on them, such as only usable on edged weapons or soft armour.

Eleusis is guarded by Tsol'aa archers, Dryad Enchantresses, Briar Knights, Woodland Rangers, Eleusian Elementalists, and Treekin warriors, as well as its Greater Eidolon, the Guardian of Thorns.
As a smith forges items with descriptors, they gain a chance of producing an item with that descriptor more cheaply than otherwise, and eventually with enough mastery over that descriptor, there exists a chance to add an additional 1-3 stat points to any weapon they forge, or 1-2 additional stat points for armour.

On 1 Sarapin, 960 years after the fall of the Seleucarian Empire, Eleusis ascended to become the Primordial Empire of Nature. Through the use of both martial prowess and diplomancy, the Empire was raised in offering to the Earthmother, Lady Gaia.
Every forged item has a size, and this size determines how many of the required commodities will be required to forge that item.

Laws and Policies
After you have some Master points in a descriptor you start having a chance to get an extra stat point on that item. If you have two descriptors that you're already Expert in and working towards Master on, you have a chance for up to three extra stat points, which are randomly assigned except for the fact that all three will never end up on the same stat. It works as such:
The laws of Eleusis are in the form of Precepts, which are blazoned upon on a cairn stone at the entrance to the village. The Viridian Charter is a key document of Eleusis which all villagers of Eleusis must follow and adhere by.

Government and Political History
* Each descriptor gives you a chance of ((points-300)/6) to get an extra stat point.
On the 13th of Daedalan, 882 AF, 558 years from the day of its contemporary re-founding, the dulcet tones of the Nymphean Octave rose towards the heavens in a soaring refrain sung in triumphant exultation of long-awaited consolidation as the village of Eleusis became a representative theocracy.
* If both descriptors give your item an extra stat point AND you are a Grandmaster Blacksmith, there's a 50% chance for a third point. If you're a Legendary instead of Grandmaster Blacksmith the chance goes up to 75%.

Village Ranks
Legendary and Grandmaster are advanced ranks and are not achieved in the same way as the other rank. You must be a Master Blacksmith in order to attain these two ranks
#Wildling
PLUS:
#Ranger
* For Grandmaster, you acquire 60 Grandmaster points. These are gotten through mastering descriptors (see below). For every descriptor mastered, you'll get the following Grandmaster points:
#Tender
  Rank 1 Descriptor = 0 points
#Warden
  Rank 2 Descriptor = 1 points
#Watcher
  Rank 3 Descriptor = 2 points
#Elder
  Rank 4 Descriptor = 6 points
  Rank 5 Descriptor = 20 points
  Rank 6 Descriptor = 30 points
* For Legendary Blacksmith, you must achieve 200 Grandmaster points.
* As a Grandmaster Blacksmith, your chances of getting stat bonuses due to Mastered descriptors are 65% per descriptor instead of 50% AND when you get two additional stat points you have a 50% chance of a third.
* As a Legendary Blacksmith, your chances of getting an additional stat point when both your descriptors produce one is up to 75%. Plus, ALL descriptors are treated as Mastered for the purpose of the extra stat point calculation (but not regarding the chance of producing an item that costs as if it was one size smaller).

Landmarks
Forging Descriptors and Commodity Costs
This small forestal village is rich with culture. It has grown immensely since adventurers started trampling through its branches just over a century ago, but still remains quaint and quiet, keeping its unique solitude.

! style="background-color:#7094DB" | Rank
The entire village is a landmark in itself. No other "city-state" and indeed, no other village can claim to be anything like it. Upon entering the village, you must trek up a spiraled staircase which will take you up a level into the trees. You walk along the tree branches for wherever you need to go, only ever seeing ground level again if you wish to visit the Sentinel or Sylvan House halls, the Eleusian Fields and stables, the bait shop, or the lush chapel on the Zaphar River. The Gaian Vale, Eleusis' subdivision, may be found near the river.

One may be inclined to visit Muria along the Oaken Way of Eleusis and hear her tales of Sentinel history. Unveiled by Lady Gaia, find the Viridian Charter cast against the Great Oak. Its golden script can be seen throughout Eleusis, but read more clearly by the arboreal ramparts near the Central Hall in the Great Oak, a local meeting place of Eleusis. A great statue of Covenant Stormcrow, the first speaker of Eleusis, graces the hall, seemingly ready to come alive and belt out a yodel for all the world to hear. The Cauldron of Infinity can be found at the Tears of Eleusis, a permanent reminder of the War of the Divine Child (See also: City-relics). The Collosea en Duir, or "The Colosseum of the Oak" in common Achaean, is the Eleusian arena. This all-natural terrain arena can be found in the southwestern part of Eleusis. Moving beyond the subdivision and the bait shop, a lush chapel overlooks the river, holding within the Flame of Nature and Altars reflecting different environments.

In the skills of Weaponsmithing and Armoursmithing smiths gain the ability to forge different kinds of weapons and armour.

In order to customize the appearance of these, the smith can select up to two adjectives called 'descriptors' from a list they can access via FORGING LIST.

Descriptors also may have category-based restrictions on them, such as only usable on edged weapons or soft armour.

Every forged item has a size, and this size determines how many of the required commodities will be required to forge that item.

* Each descriptor gives you a chance of ((points-300)/6) to get an extra stat point.
* If both descriptors give your item an extra stat point AND you are a Grandmaster Blacksmith, there's a 50% chance for a third point. If you're a Legendary instead of Grandmaster Blacksmith the chance goes up to 75%.

Legendary and Grandmaster are advanced ranks and are not achieved in the same way as the other rank. You must be a Master Blacksmith in order to attain these two ranks PLUS:

* For Grandmaster, you acquire 60 Grandmaster points. These are gotten through mastering descriptors (see below). For every descriptor mastered, you'll get the following Grandmaster points:
 Rank 1 Descriptor = 0 points
 Rank 2 Descriptor = 1 points
 Rank 3 Descriptor = 2 points
