Vault (sky)

The celestial vault is a space of the heavens created by Ayar, within which the Creator gave certain icons special power and significance. These constellations are engaged in the endless Dance of the Vault, a cycle of time and prominence which completes itself approximately every twenty-nine years. Among the major celestial patterns are the Winged Lion, the Serpent, and the Rose, as well as such shapes as the Eight-Pointed Star, the Hourglass, and the Abyss.
