Designed to affix to the hilt of a blademaster's sword, an irreverent's guard chain is a slender length of fine gold links which wraps about the guard and protects the hand from the bite of another's blade. Created for those who thumb their noses at Murad's craft, and choose to forsake their named blade, use of the artefact chain transfers ownership of their sword to another adventurer.
