The Vigil is a band of people that have been monitoring the elemental plane since the death of Agatheis. Known members are Seril, the Shastaan merchant, and Tiamenjiara, the court conjurer of Zanzibaar.
There symbol is the ivory lighthouse and they represent the elements in some way.
