A piece of horkval chitin gives one the ability to tap into a horkval hivemind. Its owner may HIVE SIPHON <amount> TO <target> to transfer some of their endurance to another adventurer. If that other also has a piece of chitin, the transfer is full; if they do not, there is some amount lost in the transfer.
