Mahogany hand vice

The mahogany hand vice, fashioned primarily from steel blocks, jaws and a spindle, this vice was used in the compression of iconic shards, resulting in larger, heavier, and more effective shards to strengthen house icons. The steel jaws of the vice were corrugated and moulded in the shape of a prism, allowing them to grip any size or variety of iconic shard.
