The Iron Citadel was headquarters for the ancient Infernal Knights Guild before it was eradicated shortly after the emergence of Mhaldor. The Guild's members had split loyalties between their patron Sartan and their city Ashtan. Eventually, those dedicated to the Guild's traditional ideals of evil betrayed their former city-state to join the new city of Evil and become what is now the modern-day Maldaathi House. Originally located south of Ashtan's Linnaen Park, all that remains of the stronghold is a wreckage of twisted beams and smashed glass.
