The '''Iron Citadel''' was headquarters for the ancient [[Infernals (guild)|Infernal Knights Guild]] before it was eradicated shortly after the emergence of [[Mhaldor]]. The Guild's members had split loyalties between their [[patron]] [[Sartan]] and their [[city]] [[Ashtan]]. Eventually, those dedicated to the Guild's traditional ideals of evil betrayed their former city-state to join the new city of Evil and become what is now the modern-day [[Maldaathi]] [[House]]. Originally located south of Ashtan's Linnaen Park, all that remains of the stronghold is a wreckage of twisted beams and smashed glass.
