"Both Ashtan and Shallam developed strictly female membership, the former becoming the War Witches and the latter converting to become Priestesses of the Basilica." Aren't Ice Mages and dryad enchantresses strictly female, too? And all Istani mages started out female, right? How do we account for there suddenly being males? --[[User:Slurpz|Slurpz]] 22:08, 5 May 2008 (GMT) | "Both Ashtan and Shallam developed strictly female membership, the former becoming the War Witches and the latter converting to become Priestesses of the Basilica." :I wouldn't know about the Ice mages, for some reason I thought they were male. The dryads I tried to explain away by saying they were later additions. I don't know about the liches in Mhaldor, and the nocturni are vague at best. We can say he(Ayer) is a sexist and only wants to be served by females though I guess. Public News 1016 introduces Aeyr. --Madelyne
How should we update the information about the Istani mages? All the cities have them (I think), but they've all been customised. --Krypton 04:39, 27 April 2008 (GMT)
- By saying exactly that but in IC form. If all the cities have them, they've all been dispersed to serve in all city-states, each group developing their own unique garb and personality as appropriate to the culture, although they have Istani origins, blah blah... take some creative liberties. Asara 14:01, 27 April 2008 (GMT)
That's not right. Didn't Istani mages start everywhere, not spread out from Ashtan? Also your "respectively" part is hard to follow because you give 6 guard types for 5 cities. Only someone with prior knowledge of what guards come from where would be able to know which city doubled-up from your guard list.
- Regarding your first point: I have no idea! You'll have to ask whoever put that there. Regarding your second point: thanks! Was a careless error which will be fixed in the next 30 seconds. Also, please don't forget to sign your comments. Asara 01:51, 5 May 2008 (GMT)
- I think that was in reference to the fact Ashtan was the first and only city at the beginning of the game. We can adjust it to reflect game history over the actual course of events though. Kinda like how there was an God of Oceans before Caspian that only Sarapis seemed to remember. Corvax 05:58, 5 May 2008 (GMT)
That looks like way too much information on Istani mages on a page that's supposed to be about Aeyr. -tongue- Should it be its own page? --Slurpz 21:58, 5 May 2008 (GMT)
- It could probably, you're hard to please. :P Corvax 22:22, 5 May 2008 (GMT)
