The Library of the Ancients is located deep within Azdun dungeon. Built by Meran'tir and his two sons, the first of the Lorewardens, it is protected by a magical shield that protects the books inside by keeping the air inside the library dry, and paper eating vermin outside, but allows adventurers to pass through freely without harm.
The library has four wings in the directions of north, south, east, and west connected by a central reading room. The ghostly figure of Candlemas, last of the Lorewardens, lingers here keeping the library clean and orderly.
