 In 396 AF, the Magi became a [[:Category:Houses|House]], at which point they changed their name to the Crystalline Circle.  Until the year 407 AF, they had solely allowed [[Magi]]-[[class|classed]] members; however, during that year they began to allow both [[Sylvan]] and [[Priest]] members as well.  Originally a [[Triumvirate (government)|Triumvirate]], a referendum was passed in the year 438 AF (by a count of 24 in favour and 2 against) in which the members decided to make the change to an [[Autocracy]].
