The Crystalline Circle was founded in 254 AF by Taranis as the Magi. In 396 AF they became a House, at which point they changed their name to the Crystalline Circle.  Until the year 407 AF they had solely allowed Magi-classed members; however, during that year they began to allow both Sylvan and Priest members as well.  Originally a Triumvirate, a referendum was passed in the year 438 AF (by a count of 24 in favour and 2 against) in which the members decided to make the change to an Autocracy.
