Whether they are formed from geologic activity is up for debate, but most are rumoured to be pieces of the destroyed planetoids [[Somnustra]], [[Lunastra]], and [[Noxtra]]. When mining was introduced to [[adventurers]] in 688 AF, the first miners to discover these rare minerals named them after themselves.
