During the time of the Chaos wars, Glaaki was imprisioned for being to powerful and to hard to kill by Pazuzu and Zsarachnor. Around the year 691AF, a group of occultists form the Occultist house rescued Glaaki and secured him in there house estate. Finding out that Glaaki was released, paranoia seized Golgotha, fearing that Glaaki's influence and power would spread across the city of Ashtan and in turn would try and over throw him. He then laid seize against the city of Ashtan in order to kill Glaaki. It was with dire need that the Overseer, and leader of the Warlocks of the Rising Phoenix and the Occultist house followed the plan of Glaaki by sacrificing the Phoenix, guarded by the warlocks, and the sacrifice of the Living Book of [[Eschaton]], by the Occultist were able to breach the Chaos realm. It was then that Glaaki made his way up to the Infernal Throne, and meet Golgotha. Holding on to long ancient and forgotten information, Glaaki spoke Golgotha's true name, ultimately bringing the Lord crumbling, weak, and trembling to his knees. Of which Glaaki took his position as Lord of the Chaos Realm.

In the year 691 AF, [[The Occultists|occultists]] ritually released the legendary Chaos Lord before securing him in their house estate. Paranoia seized Golgotha and, fearing that Glaaki's influence and power would spread against him, the Emperor of Chaos declared a seige against Ashtan. His court abandoned him, fleeing to give support to his opponent.
 
On the heels of a desperate gambit made by the forces of the beleagured Bastion of the North, Glaaki forced his way through the burning Chaos Plane to confront the Infernal Throne itself. Drawing upon ancient and long-forgotten information, he spoke Golgotha's true name thrice, bringing the emperor to his knees before usurping his title of Lord of the Chaos Plane.
