Dekalb came to be a prominent leader of the Aldar, known for his loyalty and humble manner before the Gods. He and his followers were staunch supporters of [[Proteus]] at the beginnings of the [[War of Humanity]], though he fell victim of the first instance of murder among the Aldar, slain by the battlemaster, [[Yen-Sorte]].
