The dark tunnels of Riagath are largely split between the tribes which guard their political territories jealously against one another.
The flooded caverns of Riagath are largely split between the tribes which guard their political territories jealously against one another. The tunnels are studded with forests of phantom quartz which glitter eerily in the dimness while giant anglerfish lurk in the depths of the underground lake.

History
The trolls of Riagath are descended from refugees of Kasmarkin.  Their ancestors crossed many miles in search of a new home after the doom of the ancient troll city manifested in the form of an entity called Taug. Crossing the mountains of Anake's Elbow, the trolls ran into Tsol'dasi in the jungles on the other side, a conflict which eventually escalated into full scale war and decimation of the trollkin. Retreating into the mountains, four troll families survived to establish a sanctuary in the watery tunnels which they have called home for centuries since.

Retreating into the mountains, four troll families survived and adapted, establishing a rude sanctuary within the watery tunnels which they have called home for centuries since.
