Made from fifteen cylindrical obsidian pipes bound together by smooth gold bands, the '''set of gleaming obsidian panpipes''' is capable of producing a sound that lures out five [[rats]] to the [[city]] location wherein it is played, though it is ineffective when played in the [[sewers]]. Each pipe is differently shaped, with some waving and others corkscrewing. A plate of black glass is attached to the backside of the assembly, and a different gemstone is inlayed on the front of each pipe.
